R.I.P iPod mini
I remember sweating bullets in February 2004, telling Devin that soon, the NMA Apple Store would have iPod mini's in stock. Then I remember gritting my teeth, telling her that it wouldn't be long before they had the green ones. Finally after waiting over a month, I was able to sneak an iPod on the hold shelf and later that day, she went home with her iPod.
Today, Apple decided to ditch the iPod mini line for the iPod nano. While I think the nano is pure sex, I can say that I am going to miss the little colored bricks of musical magic. But I get Apple's point...when the competition starts copying your products, time for a new product. That's what Apple is really good at. Well that, and design.
